Responsibilities:
- Convert medical diagnoses, procedures, and treatments into standardized codes (ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS).
- Ensure the accuracy of medical coding and compliance with healthcare industry standards.
- Review patient medical records and charts to verify proper documentation and completeness.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
- Familiarity with medical coding systems (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in CPC, CIC, CRC, or CCS is an added advantage.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and billing processes.
QUALIFCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Allied Health, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates (0 years experience) are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with hospital or healthcare experience are preferred but not mandatory.
