Job description

JD IP Billing :

  • Responsible for planned and emergency admissions of corporate patients
  • Coordination with different corporate for credit letter.
  • Coordination with all doctors for admission and surgical procedures
  • Giving estimates to patient for surgery.
  • To monitor the billing and auditing the bill on daily basis for corporate
  • Responsible and monitor the planned surgery/procedure clearance to be given a day prior.
  • Responsible to arrange the facilities and stationary for the dispatch department.
  • Formulate duty roster based on requests / leaves of all team members.
  • Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all patients.
  • Ensure that the team conducts and participates in scheduled training and development programs provided by the Hospital to improve self and department standards and attend departmental meetings as required.
  • Responsible for smooth functioning of the department, which includes corporate desk and dispatch desk.
  • Promptly attending to the patient complaints and take corrective actions.
  • To train and monitor all billing executives continuously on the process flow, communication, grooming and handling patient care issues.
  • To perform any job/task as and when assigned by the superior.

JD – Guest Relationship Executive

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards i.e. traditional Namaste, anticipate and address guests needs.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional maintain confidentiality of proprietary information protect.
  • Company assets protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. 
  • To respond to any questions from guests, and follow up with guests to ensure their requests have been met to their satisfaction. Counselling a patient or their family members is one of the core duty of the associate.
  • From the time of admission till discharge the GRE should engage the patients with regular and genuine conversations about their concerns and queries.
  • The GREs to reassure patient and the attendee that for any need during their stay, he or she can be contacted (After the admission the floor GRE must present his or her business card for the same).
  • Provide guests with information regarding unit, Doctors availability, location, directions, room features, and local areas of interest and activities. 
  • Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g., wheel chair, transportation, religious services, financial services, insurance services, interpretation services, admission services, Food and beverage, medicine, rooms for rent etc.) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers. 
  • Contact appropriate individual or department as necessary to resolve guest requests. 
  • Collaborate with management to develop and carry-out ideas and procedures, and set goals to continuously improve department performance. 
  • Assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards.
  • Collect In-Patient and Out Patient feedback through paper pencil method or I-Pad.
  • Enter the front line feedback immediately in the VOC application and follow up with the concerned department.
  • Seek patients to give genuine feedback through AIFM(Apollo Instant Feedback Method)
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language prepare and review written documents accurately and completely answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. 
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others support team to reach common goals listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. 
  • All GREs must be knowledgeable to attain any guest/patient disputes at lobby or at rooms. 
  • Should initiate TLC moments in a unit and also help other departments and associates in driving the same.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 5 kilos without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

JD : Patient Care Executive

  • Receive and directs guests, patients, relatives and vendors to the appropriate departments or staff. Ascertain their needs and direct them accordingly
  • Answer the telephone,
  • Handle receipt and dispatch of reports and couriers and perform related clerical duties according to the department to which assigned. 
  • Adhere the customer care guidelines and assure quality care.
  • To give accurate and tactful explanations to visitors and patients and to exercise high degree of tact and poise, overcoming language barriers.
  • To understand and apply knowledge of medical terminology (training will be provided)
  • Problem solving and decision-making. To think independently and exercise ones own judgment in determining actions during emergencies and challenging situations. 
  • Main Job Tasks Provides general information on services offered by the hospital.
  • Controls cost and expenditure related to department stationery, telephone usage as well as minimizes wastage of electricity and water.
  • Is responsible for the console handles all external & internal incoming calls across the hospital. 
  • Telephonic appointments for consultants are taken. Takes messages for staff & consultants. 
  • Is responsible for outpatients; Registers patients / customers, Screen patients and assign to the appropriate consultants Accompanies/directs patients to various departments/nursing stations. Moves charge sheets to various departments. Ensures that bills are paid and medicines are collected. 
  • Maintain the TAT as per the standards defined

JD OP Billing – Executive :

  • Arranges payment plans and counsels patient or patient attendants and arrange packages, which are affordable by them.
  • Prepares methods of payments and to settle the bills/credits.
  • Secures information relative to patient’s financial status such as type of employment, salary references and financial obligations.
  • Evaluates credit history and determines the payment dates based on patients ability to pay and policy of hospital.
  • Secures assignments of benefits in cases where patient carries insurance.
  • Responsible to counsel the patients with issues pertaining to administrative procedure for availing health insurance.
  • Coordinates with the corporates and Insurance companies for admissions and approval.
  • Coordinate with concerned Consultants and respective corporates to facilitate patient care.
  • Organizes system for collection of accounts that are not paid in full at time of discharge or as promised.
  • Settles any disputes with patients at the time of billing.
  • Provide discounts to the patients with the permission of the superiors.
  • Supervises mailing of follow up letters when statements fail to bring response.
  • Supervises and trains worker performing clerical tasks and collection activities.
  • Initiates and answers patient’s correspondence.
  • Prepare reports showing numbers and amounts of collection, delinquent accounts and related matters.
  • Settle the insurance bills, statement of payments and claim.
  • Responsible for the imparting/organizing for functional training for the department staff.
  • To perform any job/task as and when assigned by the superior.
