Skillset & Experience:
- Understanding of payer reimbursement methodologies
- Expertise in payer guidelines, Medicare/Medicaid, commercial payers
- Proficiency in insurance follow-up and denial resolution
- Knowledge of timely filing limits, reconsideration, and appeal processes
- Experience in insurance verification and benefits coordination
- Ability to analyze aging reports and reduce AR days (DAR)

- Epic, Cerner, Meditech

- Monitor and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
- Work on denial management and appeal processes
- Collaborate with payers for claim resolution and escalations
- Reconcile payment discrepancies and post adjustments
- Track and report trends in denials and underpayments
