A BS/MS degree in a relevant technical discipline such as Computer Science Engineering or
Information Technology
• Experience with an iterative Agile methodology and use of tools like JIRA, Wiki, Git, Jenkins.
• Experience working in Data Engineering, Data Analytics and DataOps would be given more
preference.
• 7+ years of Scrum master experience.
• Previous development experience is required. Some one with knowledge in Shell Scripting, Hive, Oracle, Netezza, Azure Databricks, Azure Cloud General, PySpark, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, ADLS Gen2, Delta Lake, Data would be added advantage.
• Ability to understand the technical requirements and designs that team is working on is required.
• Hands-on experience implementing Agile technical practices (e.g. Automated testing, TDD,
continuous integration).
• Ability to organize the backlog of the team and help break down Epics into Features, Stories,
Tasks.
• Knowledge and experience of using modern agile management tools such as Azure DevOps
and Confluence highly desired.
• Experience of working in Kanban.
• Should have exposure working with Multicultural clients.
• Experience of working in Scaled Agile is a plus.
• Excellent leadership skills and servant leader mentality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both in a team environment and independently
Experience managing a geo-dispersed project team.
• Alignment with Expeditors’ culture and a total commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Organize and facilitate Planning, Daily Stand-up, Reviews, Retrospectives and Demos and other
meetings.
• Understanding of fundamentals of DevOps, Continuous Delivery & Accept Test Drive
Development (ATDD).
• Clear communication and status reporting to the management
Preferred Skills:
• Scrum Master Certification preferable (CSM / CSPO).
• SAFe certification is preferred.
• Overall understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong communication skills.
