Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Test Engineering within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
Skills
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing equipment and test specifications.
- Good understanding of ICT, FCT, DFT, and manufacturing test methodologies.
- Knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in creating test strategies and preparing cost estimations.
- Ability to interpret circuit diagrams, BOMs, and product specifications.
- Familiarity with NPI processes and production test implementation.
- Basic understanding of quality standards and manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test strategies for new and existing electronic products.
- Analyze product requirements, schematics, and specifications to define appropriate testing methodologies.
- Work with ICT (In-Circuit Test) and FCT (Functional Circuit Test) vendors to determine test coverage and Design for Testability (DFT) requirements.
- Prepare test plans, test procedures, and cost estimations for new product introductions (NPI).
- Support the installation, qualification, and maintenance of production test equipment.
- Troubleshoot test failures and coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Design, and Process Engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure optimum test coverage to improve first-pass yield and reduce production defects.
- Monitor test performance and recommend continuous process improvements.
- Maintain documentation related to test fixtures, programs, validation reports, and engineering changes.
- Support customer audits and quality improvement initiatives as required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated test equipment (ATE), ICT, and FCT platforms.
- Exposure to DFT analysis and test fixture development.
- Knowledge of IPC standards and electronics manufacturing quality systems will be an added advantage.
